About Us

Theatre that makes you think and transforms communities.

We are a group made up of Latin American artists that has been categorized by spectators, press and critics as "one of the most promising theater groups in Latin American theater ."

We regularly work in partnership with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) , foundations, non-governmental organizations, embassies, and other allied institutions to promote culture and art among the most vulnerable communities in society. Throughout our history, we have collaborated with the Norwegian Embassy in Venezuela and the Polish Embassy in Mexico .

Active since 2007, we have gradually carved out our own niche in the theater scenes of Mexico City and Caracas. Some of our most emblematic works include Los Policías, Emigrantes, Hamlet en Caracas, and Maldito Amor in Mexico; as well as Escándalos Personales, Un Enemigo del Pueblo, and Vestuario de Hombres in Venezuela. Emigrantes and Los Policías are by the same author, Sławomir Mrożek, a key Polish playwright in contemporary theater.

The play An Enemy of the People was nominated for the Municipal Theater Awards and the Venezuelan Association of Theater Critics (AVENCRIT) Awards in 2014.

At the official headquarters of Micro Teatro México , we presented the play ¿Dónde está el punto? in 2015 as part of the “ Por música ” season, winning awards for best play, best director, best script, best actor, and best actress. In 2017, we presented El Asesino in the “ Por deseoseason , where we won awards for best play and best script, and two members of the cast were recognized as best actor.

Conversation “Emigrants” within the framework of the October Festival XXIII. Tijuana, Mexico, 2024

The play Emigrantes (Emigrants) was awarded the Frida Kahlo Prize by Water People Theater and has been presented on tour with UNHCR in various Mexican states. As part of these performances, the group has conducted discussions and reflective activities on social issues such as migration, working directly with vulnerable communities , including migrants and those displaced for political reasons, as well as with local communities in Chiapas, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Tijuana, Guadalajara, and other cities. The company also participated in the October XXIII Festival , organized by the Baja California Ministry of Culture (CEART), and performed at the Trasnocho Cultural in Caracas, Venezuela, in June 2023.

In addition to our regular seasons, we have toured, participated in festivals, and developed numerous artistic training workshops. We also produce audiovisual projects, such as the web series Match Conmigo , available on YouTube, and the recently released series Pim Pam Pum.

Our goals include: maintaining a commitment to our work, respecting the audience, selecting thought-provoking texts with relevant and current themes, and undertaking risky proposals with a high level of production, staging, and performance.
